CISTERCIANS, CANONS, JESUITS and POETS

Upcoming Wychwood Circle dates at Wychwood Library, 7pm

February 3rd:  Final chapters of Finding Happiness: Monastic Steps for a Fulfilling Life by Abbot Christopher Jamison: VANITY and PRIDE
We will be joined by Fr Geoff van der Weegen, Prior of the Order of Anglican Cistercians, to help us round off our discussions of this book by a Benedictine. 

March 3rd:   Christian Atheist: Belonging without Believing  -  A guest appearance by Canon Brian Mountford, Vicar of the University Church of St Mary the Virgin, Oxford, who will talk about his book of this name (O-Books, 2011). 

April 7th:   The Great Partnership: God, Science and the Search for Meaning by Jonathan Sacks (Hodder & Stoughton, 2011) - discussion based on the Introduction. 

May 5th, June 2nd, July 7th:   Topics to be decided.

From 17th January to 7th March, the Oxford Centre for Spiritual Growth offers Lunchtime Talks by a range of speakers on the theme:
